Philipp Löffelberger is back for another season with the Raiders Tirol. The Salzburg native has been a cornerstone of the defensive line since 2022, and he’s not done yet. Last season he recorded 14 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, 0.5 sacks and three critical third down stops. Off the field, Löffelberger was nominated as Man of the Year in the European League of Football in 2025 – a testament to what he represents both on and off the gridiron. As a primary school teacher by profession, he brings the same dedication to developing young football players as a coach in the Raiders Tirol Youth program.
Philipp Löffelberger: „The offseason went really well and I feel ready for another run! A huge thank you to my body, my family and everyone around me – without your support, another season at this level simply wouldn’t be possible. There’s no better place to write the final chapter of my football career than right here with the Raiders Tirol. I’m fired up to give everything for this organization and our fans one more time. Gemma Raiders Tirol!“
Shuan Fatah: „Philipp is an important piece of our team this year. He was one of the first players I met after returning, and I could immediately feel the fire in him. That’s contagious – and extremely important for our team culture. Philipp has a high football IQ and everything it takes to compete in the EFA. I can’t wait to see him in action.“
