Mit Sauli Puustinen können die Raiders Tirol einen vielseitigen Offensive Lineman begrüßen. Der 1.90 Meter große Finne ist sowohl als Offensive Tackle als auch als Guard einsetzbar und soll mit seiner Stärke einen neuen Anker in der Line bilden. Zuletzt war Puustinen bei den Porvoo Butchers engagiert und konnte dort die finnische Meisterschaft feiern. Jetzt geht es nach Innsbruck in die EFA.
Sauli Puustinen: „Ich bin den Raiders Tirol sehr dankbar, dass sie mir die Möglichkeit geben, mich zu verbessern und mich mit den Besten in Europa zu messen. Ich freue mich darauf, diesen Verein und diese Stadt zu repräsentieren und bin bereit, jedes Mal, wenn ich auf dem Feld stehe, alles zu geben. Ich kann es kaum erwarten, die Fans der Raiders Tirol zu treffen und die Energie im Stadion in dieser Saison zu spüren!“
Gerrit Meister, Offensive Line Coach: „Sauli ist mir im letzten Jahr aufgefallen als ich ihn für einen befreundeten Coach gescoutet habe. Er bringt alles mit, was ich bei einem Offensive Lineman suche. Technik, Aggression und smartes Play. Ein Grund, wieso Sauli auf einer Position sofort ins All-Star Team der Finnish Maple League gewählt wurde, auf der er erst ein Jahr gespielt hat. Er ist sehr variabel auf der OL und kann nahezu alle Positionen spielen. Genau das benötigen wir bei den Raiders Tirol, um im kommenden Jahr mit der Offensive Line zu dominieren. Er wird gemeinsam mit dem Rest der starken Offensive Line gut harmonieren, um starke Leistungen zu erbringen.“

The Raiders Tirol are excited to welcome Sauli Puustinen, a highly versatile offensive lineman. Standing at 1.90 meters, he is capable of playing both at Offensive Tackle and Guard, and is set to become a powerhouse anchor for the line. Puustinen most recently played for the Porvoo Butchers, where he celebrated a Finnish championship. Now, he’s heading to Innsbruck to take on the EFA.

That’s exactly what we need at the Raiders Tirol to dominate with our Offensive Line next season. He will fit in perfectly with the rest of the strong Offensive Line to bring us great results.”
