Jakob Scheucher wird kommende Saison für die Raiders Tirol in der EFA auflaufen. Der junge Linebacker wurde in der vergangenen Spielzeit durch seine herausragenden Leistungen in der Austrian Football League als Young Star of the Year ausgezeichnet. Scheucher, der sämtliche Nachwuchsteams der SWARCO Raiders Tirol durchlief, wird nun auf höchstem europäischem Niveau den nächsten Entwicklungsschritt gehen.
Jakob Scheucher: „Ich freue mich riesig darauf dieses Jahr zum EFA-Team der Raiders Tirol zu stoßen! Nachdem ich in der vergangenen Saison in der AFL gespielt habe, bin ich sehr dankbar für das Vertrauen und die Möglichkeit dieses Jahr auf höchstem Niveau in Europa anzutreten.“
Shuan Fatah: „Jakob ist sicherlich eine der größten Überraschungen für mich in dieser Off-Season. Großartige Instinkte, Speed und super athletische Eigenschaften – Jakob ist eines der größten Talente, die ich bei den Raiders Tirol coachen durfte. Trotz seines jungen Alters ist Jakob jetzt schon einer der besten Linebacker in unserem Team und seine Entwicklung zeigt weiterhin steil nach oben. Es macht sehr viel Spaß mit ihm zu arbeiten, weil er eine richtig gute Einstellung zu unserem Spiel hat, aber auch versteht, welche Elite an Linebackern bei den Raiders Tirol vor ihm auf dem Rasen des Tivoli Stadions standen.“

Linebacker talent Jakob Scheucher is set to suit up for the Raiders Tirol in the upcoming European season. After an outstanding performance in the Austrian Football League last year, the young linebacker was honored as the „Young Star of the Year.“ Having developed through every youth level of the SWARCO Raiders Tirol program, Scheucher is now poised to continue his evolution on the highest European stage.

Despite his young age, Jakob is already one of the best linebackers in our team and he gets better every practice. It’s a real pleasure to work with him because he has a really good attitude towards our game but also understands the caliber of elite linebackers who have played before him on the field at Tivoli stadium.”
