Auch in der kommenden Saison können die Raiders Tirol auf die Dienste von Jan Mayerhofer zählen. Der Defensive Back verlängert seinen Vertrag und bleibt damit ein wichtiger Anker auf der defensiven Seite der Tiroler.
Mayerhofer begann seine Karriere bei den Rangers Mödling, ehe er 2020 nach Innsbruck wechselte. Seitdem zählt der österreichische Teamspieler zu den Stützen des Teams und kam in der ELF auf insgesamt 36 Spiele, zu denen er insgesamt 130 Tackles, einen Sack, einen Forced Fumble sowie fünf Interceptions beisteuerte. Mit den SWARCO Raiders Tirol gewann er 2021 die Austrian Bowl, mit dem österreichischen Nationalteam wurde er zweifacher Europameister.

Jan Mayerhofer is back for another year with the Raiders Tirol. The defensive back has extended his contract, remaining a vital anchor for the Tyrolean defense.
Mayerhofer began his career with the Rangers Mödling before joining the SWARCO Raiders Tirol in 2020. Since then, the Austrian national team player has become a cornerstone of the defense. In the ELF, he has appeared in a total of 36 games, contributing 130 tackles, one sack, one forced fumble and five interceptions. His track record of success includes winning the Austrian Bowl with the SWARCO Raiders Tirol in 2021 and becoming a two-time European Champion with the Austrian national team.
