SWARCO Raiders Tirol are setting the course for the future and strengthening their sporting leadership: Darius Saint-Robinson takes over the position of Director of Player Personnel effective immediately. The former cornerback, multi-champion, and ex-Raiders Tirol player brings an impressive international network along with plenty of experience both on and off the field to Innsbruck.

Saint-Robinson looks back on a highly decorated career: as a 4-star recruit and one of the top-17 cornerbacks in the USA, he played at the renowned Clemson University (NCAA Div. 1), where he led the team as captain. After stints in the NFL with the Buffalo Bills, he left his mark on top-tier European football, including a Eurobowl title with the Braunschweig Lions. With SWARCO Raiders Tirol, he won the CEFL in 2019 and secured the MVP title with two spectacular return touchdowns. Formative years followed in the European League of Football (ELF) as an All-Star and team captain for the Wrocław Panthers and Munich Ravens, as well as head coaching experience with the Prague Black Panthers in the AFL.

In his new role as Director of Player Personnel, Saint-Robinson will be responsible – together with Head Coach Shuan Fatah – for roster planning, recruiting top talent, and the strategic development of the team.

Shuan Fatah on the new appointment: „With Darius, we’ve landed my absolute first-choice candidate for our organization. His expertise and experience at every level of football are of enormous value. His academic background and his ability to create and optimize processes and structures will be of immense help to us in the near future. In his time as a player with us, Darius was a consummate professional, and one of the best to ever play for Raiders Tirol. Our contact never broke off over the years, and I’m very happy that we’ve finally managed to bring him on board.“

Darius Saint-Robinson: „I’m honored and humbled by the opportunity to join Raiders Tirol as Director of Player Personnel. Raiders Tirol has established itself as the crème de la crème of European football, and having competed in these colors myself in 2019, I understand the responsibility that comes with being part of that standard. We are fortunate to be in such an amazing city, which boasts the finest facilities and arrangements in the European Football Alliance, second to none. My responsibility is to ensure that our personnel reflect that standard. We have one of the youngest football teams in the EFA, with an average age of around 25. That gives us an exceptionally high ceiling for many years ahead. Our objective is to become a more complete football team through the athletes we identify, the depth we create, the development we prioritize, and the culture we build around them. That is something I take great pride in. We know we have the right leader in Coach Shuan Fatah. He has made the standard clear and the vision clear. Now we build.“
