Die prestigeträchtige und außergewöhnliche Karriere geht weiter! Adrian Platzgummer feiert 2026 sein 25-jähriges Jubiläum bei den Raiders Tirol und wird auch in der kommenden Saison für seinen Heimatverein auflaufen.
Platzgummer startete seine Football-Laufbahn 2001 im Nachwuchs der Raiders Tirol und durchlief sämtliche Jugendstationen, ehe er schon 2011 sein Debüt in der Kampfmannschaft gab. Auf Erwachsenenlevel gewann er sechsmal die Austrian Bowl, wurde drei Mal CEFL-Champion und wurde außerdem zweifacher Europameister mit der österreichischen Nationalmannschaft.
Vergangenes Jahr war Platzgummer neben seiner Stammposition als Wide Receiver auch als Quarterback auf dem Feld und führte das Team zu Siegen über die Helvetic Mercenaries und Cologne Centurions. Er ist als Kapitän und Vorzeige-Athlet auf und neben dem Football-Feld eine der prägenden Führungsfiguren der Raiders Tirol, der die Werte des Vereins wie kein zweiter lebt.
Adrian Platzgummer: „Die Raiders Tirol bedeuten mir alles. Meine beste Saison als Spieler und Captain liegt noch vor mir. Ich will neue Standards setzen und gebe bereits jetzt alles, um 2026 zum besten Jahr für die Raiders Tirol und mich zu machen.“

The prestigious and extraordinary career of a true icon continues: Adrian Platzgummer will celebrate his 25th anniversary with the Raiders Tirol in 2026, taking the field once again for his home club. Platzgrummer began his football journey in 2001 in the Raiders Tirol youth program before making his senior debut in 2011.
His trophy case is a testament to his impact: at the senior level, he has won the Austrian Bowl six times, claimed three CEFL championships, and is a two-time European Champion with the Austrian national team. Last season, Platzgummer showcased his incredible versatility; while primarily a wide receiver, he stepped in at quarterback to lead the team to crucial victories over the Helvetic Mercenaries and the Cologne Centurions.
As captain and fierce competitor, Platzgummer is a defining leader both on and off the field – embodying the values of the Raiders Tirol like no other.
